Trendier, an AI-based health & beauty trend analysis platform (CEO: Son Jung-wook and Chun Gye-seong), announced on the 11th that it has launched its new service, the “Trendier AI Assistant,” which applies conversational AI technology.

The Trendier AI Assistant is a service specialized in analyzing health and beauty market trends. It enables users to generate accurate, data-driven, real-time reports through simple prompts—providing detailed, category-specific market insights that are difficult to obtain through ChatGPT or standard Google searches.

For example, when asked questions such as “What ingredient keywords are most frequently mentioned by Japanese Qoo10 consumers when discussing Korean skincare products?” or “What are the top 10 fastest-rising suncare items on Amazon US in the first half of the year?”, the assistant automatically generates business-ready reports complete with concrete market data and charts.

Trendier’s ability to deliver more granular market trend insights than global AI services such as ChatGPT lies in its fine-tuning process. The platform regularly trains the latest generative AI models on more than 400 billion data points of multinational e-commerce data annually.

To achieve this, proprietary algorithms developed in-house analyze detailed information on 1 billion products traded across 30 global e-commerce platforms, along with multilingual consumer reviews, on a daily basis and continuously feed this data into the AI for learning.

Trendier first unveiled the Trendier AI Assistant at Cosmobeauty 2024, held at COEX last May, where it was introduced to over 300 domestic health and beauty industry professionals and overseas buyers from more than 20 countries who attended the event in person. The company plans to expand service access, starting with major domestic and international clients.

Currently, Trendier’s key clients include major domestic distributors such as Amazon, Olive Young, and Coupang, as well as leading K-beauty brands including Amorepacific, LG Household & Health Care, and Aekyung Industrial. Its client base also extends to major manufacturers and ingredient suppliers such as Cosmax and Kolmar Korea, along with indie brands including COSRX, TIRTIR, and Amuse.

Trendier also operates the “Trendier Library” service, which compiles more than 100 reports each month on rapidly growing market trends by country and category, delivering them to partner companies in the form of a weekly newsletter.

The service has attracted strong attention from small and medium-sized businesses, with more than 2,000 domestic companies adopting it within just six months of launch.
